The Monts d’Ambazac, small, Limousin mountain range

At the heart of the Limousin, northeast of Limoges, the evocation of the Monts d'Ambazac encourages the discovery ... of monumental rocky chaos, countless dry stone walls, asleep its good water fountains, to receding waters of the River Taurion, the harmony will make you dream and you will just wait ... to return.

In the north east of the Haute-Vienne, the Monts d’Ambazac, which peak at 700 m in altitude, offer you a variety of rolling landscapes interspersed with a rich and varied heritage.
The Monts d’Ambazac are small villages like Ambazac and its magnificent Romanesque church, Les Billanges on the banks of the Taurion, Saint Silvestre in a heavily wooded area, historic and heritage-rich Jabreilles-les-Bordes and Laurière steeped in the blossoming era of the 19th century migrant stone masons.
